Creating Your Own Pattern

Patterns provide a lot of flexibility and convenience to App developers. Patterns could be used for anything from publishing messages to feeds to sending text messages. Rediff envisions that Patterns would cover almost all commonly used functionality inside an App. Such a collection of Patterns would make an App developer's life a lot easier and would also help in speeding up the time required to create an App from scratch.

While Rediff can create certain Patterns for common use, developers like you are in a better position to understand what kind of Patterns you need regularly. Rediff will provide a mechanism by which you can create Patterns and submit it to the Rediff API team. If your Pattern is approved, it will be available to other developers who might need the Pattern for their Apps.

More information about creating your own Pattern and the procedure for contributing to the Rediff APIs will be coming soon.
